Oracle Brings Gemini AI Models to Thousands of Enterprise Applications Customers

Oracle and Google Cloud have significantly deepened their enterprise AI partnership, announcing that Google's Gemini models will be integrated directly into Oracle's flagship suite of business applications. The move gives Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and Oracle NetSuite customers access to Gemini's reasoning and multi-modal capabilities inside the ERP, HCM, supply chain and customer experience workflows they already rely on — without requiring migration to a new platform.

What's Being Integrated and Why It Matters

The expanded partnership centres on Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, Oracle's development environment for building AI automation and agentic applications. Gemini models will be added as a model option within the Studio, joining offerings from other providers and giving enterprise developers the flexibility to select the model most suited to each specific task.

Two Gemini models are initially planned: Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite, engineered for high efficiency and optimal price-performance on routine automation tasks, and Gemini 3.5 Flash, designed for more complex reasoning, video analysis and presentation creation. Oracle also intends to use Gemini models for embedded AI use cases in both Fusion Applications and NetSuite — applying each model where it delivers the best results for specific scenarios rather than adopting a single-model approach across the board.

This builds on customers' existing access to Gemini through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Enterprise AI and its integration with the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.

What Enterprise Customers Gain

For Oracle's customer base — which includes NetSuite's 44,000-plus users across 220 countries and a broad enterprise roster running Fusion ERP, HCM and supply chain software — the integration means AI capability lands inside governed workflows rather than alongside them. Automated approvals, financial decisions, supply chain responses and employee lifecycle events can all benefit from Gemini's reasoning without requiring data to leave the application environment or be routed through a separate AI layer.

Multi-modal capability is a specific addition. Gemini 3.5 Flash's ability to handle video and presentation content opens up use cases in Oracle Fusion Applications that text-only models cannot address — from processing video-based supplier documentation to generating executive presentations from structured operational data.

Quotes from Both Companies

"Our expanded partnership with Oracle is designed to make it easier for organisations to use Gemini in the applications and agentic workflows they rely on to automate workflows, accelerate decisions, and drive outcomes," said Satish Thomas, Vice President at Google Cloud.

"By bringing Gemini to Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, we are giving customers and partners greater choice as they build and extend agents and agentic applications that reason through complex, real-world business challenges," said Chris Leone, Executive Vice President of Applications Development at Oracle. "Oracle Fusion Applications then turn that reasoning into action through governed workflows, approvals, and transactions."

Oracle NetSuite founder Evan Goldberg added: "Choosing the right model for the right use case is critical to helping customers get more value from AI. We are working with leading large language models, like Google's Gemini, to help customers improve visibility, automate work, and move from insight to action within NetSuite."

The Broader Context: Enterprise AI Is Now a Model-Choice Market

The Oracle-Google Cloud announcement reflects a wider shift in enterprise AI strategy. Rather than locking customers into a single AI provider, platform vendors are building multi-model architectures that let organisations select the best tool for each job — balancing capability, cost and compliance requirements. Oracle's positioning of Gemini as one option within AI Agent Studio, rather than a wholesale replacement of existing AI infrastructure, signals that enterprise AI is maturing into a procurement decision as much as a technology one.

For Google Cloud, embedding Gemini into Oracle's application layer — used daily by enterprises across every major industry — is a significant distribution play that extends Gemini's reach deep into production enterprise workflows at scale.
